Modify Short Answer Paper Options

Opening Date Before this date students will not be able to submit answers. Format = dd/mm/yyyy. Leave blank if you want students to be able to submit answers immediately.
Deadline Date The deadline date for for the test paper. Leave blank if you want students to be able to complete the test at any time.
Penalty Date Students who miss the deadline can submit answers up to this date. Leave blank if you want the deadline to be final.
Maximum Mark When marks are calculated they will be scaled to this maximum and rounded to a whole number. You are recommended to select either 10 or 100.

General Marks

The following options allow you to specify marks that will be awarded for overall performance on the test and not specific to any one question. For example, bonus marks for using clear English throughout the paper. Marking arrangements for the questions themselves are set by editing the questions.

Available Marks The marker will be given the opportunity to award a whole number mark up to this amount. Set to zero if you don't want to use general marking.
Weighting This is the weighting given to this category of mark. You can use a decimal number.
Notes Use this area to provide the marker with assessment criteria for the general marks.
